Many of our users are small business owners. They use our system to create database applications to manage their businesses. Usually they start by using Microsoft Access because our system provides schema editor for MS Access, which makes using MS Access free. But they usually needs accessing their databases remotely and hence we have been recommending switching to client/server databases. But they do not want to pay the high cost usually associated with client/server databases. Thus we have decided to promote the using of MySQL. We have added a graphic user interface to edit MySQL database schema (remember, our system is a codeless programming system), and created tutorials. Some of our customers have successfully transferred from MS Access to MySQL.
