Zmanda offers two complementary open source backup and recovery solutions. Amanda is a robust and proven network backup solution that allows system administrators to back up and recover files from multiple hosts across a network and store data on either disk, tape or optical devices.

Zmanda Recovery Manager (ZRM) for MySQL is an enterprise class backup and recovery solution that meets the specific requirements of the MySQL DBA.

Zmanda offers support and services for these solutions via an annual subscription to the Zmanda Network. In addition to pre-compiled, certified and tested software, Zmanda Network subscriptions include technical advisory services, Zmanda knowledgebase, software updates and security alerts.
