Innobase

Innobase Oy is the developer of InnoDB, the leading transactional storage engine for the MySQL open source database. MySQL distributes InnoDB in both MySQL Enterprise and MySQL Community Edition. As part of a MySQL Enterprise subscription, users can obtain support for InnoDB through MySQL AB. In April 2006, MySQL and Innobase Oy agreed to a multi-year extension of their licensing agreement, so users can count on continued development, distribution and support for InnoDB.

Innobase also develops and distributes InnoDB Hot Backup, a utility for on-line (hot) backups of a running MySQL database. Innobase directly distributes and supports InnoDB Hot Backup, which can be ordered here.
