DataDirect XQuery By DataDirect Technologies

Users of the MySQL® relational database (Enterprise version) can now take advantage of high-performance, scalable, reliable XQuery that is provided for these and other relational databases by DataDirect XQuery®.

Additionally, DataDirect XQuery provides integration capability with MySQL, other relational databases, and EDI, and the ability, of course, to deal with XML documents — even very large ones.

The DataDirect MySQL Examples show how:

1. MySQL users can run XQuery against data stored in their Enterprise version
2. DataDirect XQuery can help them aggregate data stored in their databases with information available in native XML documents and/or in EDI messages

Thanks to DataDirect XQuery, MySQL users have access to a standard-based, easy, and performant way to access data stored in their databases as XML for the first time.
