A leading open source database provider taps into the expanding Asia-Pacific market through partnership with a leading Korean IT Services company.
MySQL AB, developer of the world's most popular open source database, and Samsung SDS today announced that they had entered a partnership to market the MySQL Network offering in Korea. MySQL AB will leverage its partnership with Samsung SDS to tap into the growing demand for open source database technology in Korea.
Under this partnership, SDS and MySQL AB will work together to develop the MySQL market and to support and integrate MySQL into SDS's own solutions, system integration and development projects.
SDS has been running an Open Source Software Lab in its R&D center since 2003 and has been leading the enterprise open source software business in Korea.
