12. August 2003 — Radiant Data Corporation today announced that it has partnered with MySQL AB, the developer of the world’s most popular open source database, through the MySQL Partner Program. The Radiant Data for Linux platform now provides local and remote data replication capabilities to MySQL database applications among any number of locations. 5. August 2003 — Pogo Linux Inc., a Linux hardware vendor, and MySQL AB, developer of the world’s most popular open source database, today launched the first MySQL® database appliance, the DataWare 2600 Server. The DataWare 2600 is a pre-configured, fully integrated hardware/software offering optimized for speed and value. 4. August 2003 — Emic Networks today announced a new partnership with Securities America, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Emic Networks provides Securities America with Emic Application Cluster (EAC) products for Apache and MySQL? servers. 30. July 2003 — MySQL AB, developer of the world’s most popular open source database, today announced a strategic alliance with SGI, a world leader in high-performance computing, to provide the MySQL® database on the SGI Altix 3000 family of servers and superclusters. MySQL AB and SGI are cooperating on engineering optimization, marketing and sales for the Intel Itanium 2-based Altix 3000 supercluster running MySQL on Linux to power heavy-load, high-performance database applications.

The free kit includes tools and tutorials for converting FileMaker Pro solutions to MySQL. The kit is designed to make it extremely easy for novice users to migrate Web-bound FileMaker Pro solutions to MySQL.

April 2003 — Arkeia, an international leader in enterprise backup software, has introduced a new plug-in to complement the recently released MySQL™ database for the 64-bit Intel Itanium 2 processor running the Linux operating system. The plug-in works with Arkeia s new v5.1 software for backup/recovery of heterogeneous networks.
